Brush Cleaning & Care:

Thorough cleaning is essential to maintain the performance, hygiene, and longevity of your makeup brushes.
Makeup can clump or dry in the bristles, reducing their flexibility, making it harder to pick up new product, and ultimately decreasing the effectiveness of the brush.

Why It Matters:

Brushes that aren't cleaned properly can harbor bacteria that transfer directly to your skin. This can lead to irritation, breakouts, or even infections - negatively impacting your entire makeup routine.

How to Clean Your Brushes Properly:

- Wash the bristles in lukewarm water (never hot).

- Use a neutral, fragrance-free soap to gently cleanse the bristles up to the aluminum ferrule.

- Starting at the ferrule, gently press the bristles outward to remove makeup residue.

- Once the bristles are damp, squeeze out excess water, wrap the brush in a paper towel, and press gently.

- To dry, lay the brush on a towel with the handle slightly elevated and the bristles pointing downward. This prevents water from remaining in the brush and loosening the glue inside.

Note: If the frame becomes too wet, the glue may dissolve, causing the bristles to fall out.

Important Care Tips:

Avoid contact with alcohol-based brush cleaners unless quick drying is absolutely necessary, as these solvents can damage synthetic fibers and lead to shedding.

Do not use fabric softeners or conditioners. These can reduce the bristles’ ability to absorb and apply powder effectively.
