The glycerin is extracted 100% from a tree in India called the Karandja.

Glycerin is a co‑product of the oilseed industry: manufacturers purchase oil‑bearing seeds from producers and process them into vegetable oil, which is then separated into fatty acids and glycerol, the base material used to produce glycerin.

This glycerol is then vacuum‑distilled, and the excess water is removed through evaporation, resulting in the final glycerin.
